OUR MISSION

The Mission of Christian Sisters Organization is to help rebuild communities through character development on the basis of biblical principles. It is our belief that salvation is received through faith and confession of the life, death and ressurection of Jesus Christ.

OUR HISTORY
Founder and President Sonja Houston officially established Christian Sisters Organization in 2003. This organization developed from a group of teachers who came together periodically for fellowship and prayer.
C.S.O. quickly began to grow, incorporating all women. As they became spiritual avenues in the lives of one another, God presented the vision of an outreach ministry for teenage girls.
In September 2006 Junior Christian Sisters mentoring program was established. As Christian Sisters Organization continues to grow we plan to draw our community closer to Christ one day at a time.

JUNIOR CHRISTIAN SISTERS
The J.C.S. program was set up to provide positive and professional Christian women role models to help adolescent females ages 14-18 develop goals and acheive empowerment in the areas of self esteem, social skills, spirituality, professionalism, health and finance as they enter womanhood.

What does the JCS Program offer?
Various classes meet for 12 weeks on Saturday mornings to develop young girls into Godly ladies. In addition to classes we offer community service opportunities, tutoring, study sessions and activities. Each year a cotiliion is held in celebration of the Junior Christian Sisters completion of the program. Each girl is then introduced into our society as the young ladies God intends them to be.

How do I get started?
Each semester an informational will be open to the community for sign up. During the informational mentors and volunteers will be introduced and available for questions. Contact us for more information as well as informational dates.
